Putting in at Nicholsville Bridge or Deer Lake Beach, we paddle along the north shore of Deer Lake, taking in the scenery and the natural environment that is close to civilization, but still wild. A picnic lunch is served overlooking the lake. If wind and water conditions are right, we will play in the surf at Deer Lake Beach upon our return.
