Ride from Deer Lake and explore the beautiful Cloudy Pond Valley with two nights a Cloudy Pond Lodge. On day two, take a scenic side trip to the sea at Goose Arm where Cloudy Pond empties into the ocean. The scenery is breathtaking. Enjoy a packed lunch and a mug-up on the beach. End your day by relaxing around the fireplace at the lodge, but know that your gaze will always be drawn back to the spectacular view of the hills around Cloudy Pond.
Cloudy Pond Lodge is located in the beautiful Cloudy Pond Valley in Goose Arm. This newly constructed rustic lodge has four bedrooms, each with two double beds, two bathrooms with hot showers, a kitchen area and a cozy living/dinning area overlooking Cloudy Pond.

A warm coat – also bring a heavy sweater or fleece jacket
Jeans – We suggest 1 pair for riding and another for camp
Riding Boots – a boot with a heal or a narrow style works best
Sneakers – or an extra pair of shoes for camp
Gloves – leather lined or suede gloves provide protection with a sure grip
Clothing that is easily layer works best for Newfoundland’s mother nature.

Rain Gear – A rain coat and pants. Rain ponchos are not permitted as they
flap in the wind and spook the horses

Flashlight
Riding Helmets – must be worn by riders under 18 years of age. A cowboy hat or
baseball hat is fine for those who are over 18 years of age.
