Francois, a tiny, isolated community located on the south-west coast of Newfoundland. Nestled beneath the towering hills, this outport fishing community has been in existance since the early 1800's.
You’ll cruise to two resettled communities Parson's Hr. and Rencontre; Parson's Harbour, formally known as New Harbour, is a resettled community from the 1960's Government Resettlement Program. Here you can walk the groomed paths and see one of the towns that was left behind. Rencontre West is another resettled village, but, one that has been given a new lease on life.
Many people have taken the homes of former residents and turned them into summer homes. Here life abounds during the warmer months and the community has been kept alive by other's who did not want to see it die. Rencontre Bay astounds guests with majestic fjords, magnificent waterfalls, abounding wildlife, tranquil beauty and memories to last forever.

Day One : Arrive in Francois
Day Two: Cruise to two resettled communities - Parson's Hr. and Rencontre with an optional hike (1 1/2 hours) between the two communities.Have lunch on board the boat while taking a scenic tour of Rencontre Bay.
Day Three: Tour of Cape la Hune Bay, Cul de Sac West, & Aviron Bay with boil up on the beach (weather permitting)
