Gros Morne Mountain

Affectionately known as “Baldy”, Gros Morne Mountain is the second highest point in Newfoundland, and the origin of the Park's name. A strenuous trail leads to the top, with panoramic views of fjords, the Long Range plateau, and the coastal lowland. A delightful picnic lunch is included with this adventure. Caribou, Moose, Rock Ptarmigan and Arctic Hare are commonly sighted on this hike.
